  • BASAVA ACADEMY OF ENGINEERING was established in the year 2002 under the flagship of Sri Belimatha Maha Samsthana Socio Cultural and Education Trust. The Belimatha Trust was established in 1975 by Sree Sree Charamurthy Shivarudra Mahaswamiji. Basava academy of engineering Bangalore is recognized by the Government of Karnataka and approved by AICTE New Delhi. Affiliated to Visveswaraiah Technology University (VTU).
     
    The institute provides a number of modern facilities within its sprawling campus. The college is located on a sprawling area of 10 acres of land has 60 experienced and all well qualified teaching faculty and 15 supporting staff . The college library has a collection of 10000 volumes. The college provides Boys Hostel, Girls Hostel, Laboratory, Seminar Hall and recreation. The College has all fully equipped laboratories, well-stacked library, workshops and spacious furnished classrooms. The college buildings are architecturally designed meeting functional needs of classrooms, Computer and Electronics Laboratory Library and workshops.
